Ever since I was a kid dessert has always been a love of mine! I’ve always loved trying new recipes and challenging myself on creating something new. I come from a big family (13 to be exact). So there was a birthday practically every month therefore there was always a reason to bake!
One of mine and my husband's first dates was at a place that sold donuts similar to ours. That place will always have a special place in my heart. My husband and I decided to recreate the dessert at home. It turned out so good that we decided to share it with our friends and family - thankfully they loved it just as much as we did! With such great responses I decided I wanted to share it with even more people.
I grew up in Missouri but I also spent 5+ years living in Bozeman with my dad on all my school breaks. I remember how fresh and calming that Montana air was and hoped to live here one day. A year or so after me and my husband were married we traveled to Bozeman for the holidays and he was able to feel the indescribable peace that the big sky brings. After that visit we began to plan how we would move here and raise our future family.
What started out as a “that would be fun” idea morphed into this crazy journey that I get to take with my husband and 3 kids! Looking back to when I was a little girl, having the time of my life whipping up some random (and I’m sure delicious) creations. To now being able to make a living doing what I love with my husband….. I am truly grateful.
